Just got back from Sayulita this january, was worried after reading all of the horror stories on reddit but we had a great time! The main beach is a bit crowded on weekends but on weekdays it’s a nice place to sit and surf if you’re into that. ... The town can be busy and touristy but it is a nice easy trip from PVR and the locals are great. Tons of great jungles and isolated beaches to hike to and lots of fantastic food in town.
