Pros
- The Ukrainian-made Sash Tres SE comes extremely close to the LCD in resolve and excels in vocals, is very musical, and has a better tuned FR than the Audeze
- While I'm at it, have you heard of our lord and savior, the Sash Tres SE, handmade Ukrainian custom planar but without the racism!
- I paid less for my Sash Tres SE, that pair has wooden cups and planar drivers and man does that it sound amazing to me (and it looks great imo).
- Something that really shocks me about this headphone is how natural it sounds. It's not perfectly neutral or anything but it just sounds very right. Definitely one I'm happy to have jumped at.
- I have the original diaphragm and I absolutely adore it. Super nice guy to work with and incredible value.
Cons
- Also, even if we aren't talking about sound Sash will be ~ 50 grams heavier and looks too DIY-ish for my taste.
- Cups look better on the Sash Tres SE but headband looks better on the Vreum2. Also Verum has those magnetic mounted earpads which seem a much better design than the Sash Tres screws.
- On the whole, Sash Tres SE is extremely similar to the Verum 2. I would venture to say that the Sash Tres SE is to the Verum 2, as the HD650 is to the HD600. It would really come down to a matter of tastes/preferences really (one leaning...

It would really come down to a matter of tastes/preferences really (one leaning slightly warmer/fuller, the other more neutral, having slightly better treble/air).

They sound very musical to me. People say they lack bass, but that’s not the case for me—even with the upgraded driver. One time, I freaked out while watching a movie with them, I thought I heard something coming from another room. I rewound a few seconds, and it turned out it was just my Sash. Insane soundstage especially depth.
When i think value, i think chi-fi. But this headphone shatter that thinking of mine. Now it is my most used, almost daily headphone. Not only value, but build is as good, everything is tight, secure and stiff, of course in a good way. Did i mention they look good? Aesthetically pleasing
