Harari wrote that chimpanzees “hunt together and fight shoulder to shoulder against baboons, cheetahs and enemy chimpanzees.” Chimps live in the forests of central and west Africa, and cheetahs are open-country savannah animals of eastern and southern Africa. He said “Just 6 million years ago, a single female ape had two daughters. One became the ancestor of all chimpanzees, the other is our own grandmother.” That’s not how evolution works.

Sapiens by Yuval Noah Harari -- agree or disagree with his conclusions, the man can WRITE. The opening chapter about the Cognitive Revolution reads like a thriller.
