They have a little screen in front of the seat with the translation. However, it can be long to get through a whole opera. Another option is just to tour the opera house which is offered.
If you’ve never been to an opera and want to give it a try, this is a great place to do it. We went to a bunch of operas there a while back while living in New Mexico. Although we are not huge opera fans we enjoyed it a lot. They have little screens that translate the libretto at every seat. As you say, the venue is amazing, and dress is pretty casual in a way that probably wouldn’t happen at a big city opera house.

hi! i highly suggest it, even though i am biased (worked there last season and will return soon to work this season). I’m not an opera fan, i come from theatre and other live events, but even if you are not into opera their production elements and artistry is highly sought after. As another commenter said they have small captions screens for audience members that translate dialogue, so it’s slightly more helpful. if you’re on the fence, look at the 2018 production.
