Santa Cruz Bicycles

Pros

• If you buy a Specialized or a Santa Cruz, those parts are readily available. In the distribution channel.
• Santa Cruz
• only Yeti, Specialized and Santa Cruz have true xxl sizing, not on all models but at least their trail bikes.
• You seem set on SC which are great bikes.
• I love both Havana and Santa Cruz. They smell amazing and perform wonderfully!

Cons

• OH GOD. Anything within the last 10 years will be way better than that Stiff plank of a Santa Cruz.
• I went to carbon bike recently (Santa Cruz) and haven’t personally noticed any significant difference. If I could do it again I would have spent the savings on a second bike or upgrades.
• In Santa Cruz w a three year old. Grew up in the Bay Area. Couldn’t imagine a better way to raise a kid. We do either a park over looking the ocean, the beach or the trails every single day. We ride our bike from the front door to park....
• I just got done shopping bikes, and I couldn’t get past the shit component sets on SC bikes (at my intro/mid price range).
• Santa Cruze if you want to save money I guess. It is much smaller overall it seems like inside and out. Ridgline has wider bed (probably longer too) and drivers more like a car.
