I recently read ‘Salem’s Lot and the vignettes were my favourite part!
Salem’s Lot is his worst.
If you haven’t read Salem’s Lot, it’s exceptional. There are some genuinely terrifying moments in it. Solid vampire story, traditional vampire mythology for the most part as well.
I also recommend Salem’s Lot. Nothing really bothers me but that book made me think twice about my windows at night.
