Saints Row 2

Pros

• The 2nd game was so good. The radio music too. So much nostalgia.
• I thought honestly the game was more fun than 3 and had better content but honestly most early GTA clones kinda sucked. Saints Row was at least a B-movie second best
• SR2 is one of my favourite games from that generation. I always play a jacked albino brit and he fits so well into the story, he and Gat are the perfect duo.
• Had the grit and some of the drama that made 2 work so well, and the humor nailed that line between cynicism and absurdity that leaned too hard into absurdity the longer the series went on.
• Basically the first game, but better. And the main guy talks.

Cons

• Yeah, visually it's aged really poorly. ... It still does a lot right. The story is the best of the series--it gets the balance just right between the comedic and the serious, IMO.
• The PC version was supposed to receive an update to bring that version up to snuff but never did.
• I loved Saints Row 2 back in the day but what really struck me when I went back recently is how empty the world is, I was running for ages before I even found a car.
• I know it’s a fan favorite game but I just couldn’t get into it. I really enjoyed the gameplay but holy shit this game looks rough, even for 2008 standards. ... The textures are too clean (road looks like it was paved new), the buildings...
• I enjoyed 2nd game but I played pc version so i had unstable fps a lot of times
