Consider the Caribbean if you want beach. St. Lucia has beaches and zip lines through their tropical forests.
St. Lucia is also popular for American tourists I feel like, with some good beaches, the Pitons for hiking.
St Lucia is an amazing option. You have a lot of nature to explore. The area around Soufrière is ideal for hiking. It feels much less built up than Aruba.
The Philippines (check out Boracay), or a Caribbean island such as St. Bart’s, St. Lucia, or the Bahamas. Water is unmatched!!!
From my perspective St Lucia is the only place in the Caribbean with harder roads (and that’s only if you’re venturing off the beaten path)

I’ve been to the Caribbean, specifically St. Lucia a couple of times and absolutely loved it! There is a fair bit to do in St. Lucia as well, climbing the Gros Piton, visiting the plantations and the volcano are all great days out.
St. Lucia is the most Hawaiian like island in the Caribbean. Have you looked at that?
It wasn’t cheap so yeah I’m not going to St. Lucia anytime soon.
