WOW. *blink.* This book created such a vivid movie in my head from start to finish. As soon as you pick it up, the first word whisks you off and you're in this world of necromancers, the gates of death, the space between worlds, physical and non-physical experiences of reality, a crazy freaking magic cat that serves necromancers. BONKERS. SUBLIME. INIMITABLE.
