Pros
- If you want to do a Dutch city, Rotterdam or The Hague might be better. Rotterdam is more modern, the streets are wider with flatter pavement.
- I would do Amsterdam or Rotterdam, anywhere in the south of France, and Berlin :)
- You could do Paris, Bruxelles, Amsterdam or Berlin for capitals an alternative could be in France Lyon, Genevieve in Switzerland (but is expensive), Rotterdam in Netherlands, Köln or Dresden in Germany.
- Rotterdam is different and it has this urban feel but if youre looking for a classic dutch city Utrecht.
Cons
- Rotterdam is just a different kind of crowded. I like the city fair enough but it doesn't have the amount of attractions Amsterdam has.
- Rotterdam was simply proximity to Amsterdam, no real ties. I can knock both nights off Rotterdam easily.
