From late February to early March, Andalucía is generally open, active, and good to visit. Even though southern Spain can get rain in winter, the weather is now more stable, expect mild temperatures (15–20°C), while Granada and Ronda can be cooler and see a bit more rain, especially at night.
Nerja and Ronda are super-pretty but are much better for couples. I felt out of place, but if you’re looking for lots of nIce restaurants and hotels and don’t mind spending some extra cash, they’re fine.
From Malaga you can make a day trips to Cordova, Granada, Ronda, even Sevilla (but it's quite far and my advice is to save Sevilla to another trip).
Ronda is an easy day trip from Málaga and there are loads of group tours that do Ronda and Sentenil in one trip (or easy for you if you're renting a car).
