Roland MC-101

Pros

• Ever considered the roland mc-101? You van get those used for not much more then a t8 or s1. Gives you 4 channels with drums, synts, effects and samples.
• You can get an MC-101 to get four tracks of the Roland Zencore sounds that are in the MC-707. It's exactly the same preset library.
• I was going to recommend the MC-101 as well. It is a fully functional groovebox, but if you ignore that and just look at the sounds then it's one of the best multi-timbral sound modules you'll get for the money (4 channels, 128 voice pol...
• I did that for a while to sequence all four tracks on an MC-101 and it worked really well.
• The lack of a keyboard and a pretty steep learning curve (to really get into it) makes me a bit reluctant, but the MC-101 is really, really good, and all the things you asked for. ... it really is worth the effort. It's that good.

Cons

• The MC-101 has thousands of classic Roland sounds. You should check it out. ... But I would not buy the MC-101 to create your own patches.
• I've sort of zeroed in on the Roland MC 101, (seems capable to do all I'd want it to but not sure how easy it is to get something going or change direction on the fly)
