Pros

  • An FPS that makes you feel like RoboCop almost as much as the Batman Arkham games make you feel like Batman. ... Story-wise, I really didn't care how RoboCop and everyone else kept ignoring the blindingly obvious though.
  • An insanely enjoyable FPS with a story that's interesting, upgrades that feel rewarding, and guns that feel impactful that has terrible optimization but great looks. Nails feeling like Robocop.
  • Robocop: Rogue City has been a pleasant surprise. Many redditors seem to enjoy it, so I expected a competent shooter, but didn't expect it to look this good, be this atmospheric, or have really fun dialogue and a RPG side quest system th...
  • And it certainly makes the difference, it doesn’t feel like Robocop-lite. It sells the feeling of the game and cements the distinctive design of the universe to feel very authentic!
  • I loved this game. Objectively, I know it’s just average to decent. But you could tell the devs adore Robocop and they made it spot on.

Cons

  • The same with "Robocop: Rogue City" (though these are at least optional story wise but beneficial for XP) where you take a get well card around the precinct for a colleague, or fix the servers (something which doesn't involve any mitigat...
  • I didn't hate the opening of **RoboCop: Rogue City** but playing it alongside Doom it's the exact opposite first person shooter experience. ... I will try another level but modest **7/10 Good Game** so far.
  • Just completed Robocop: Rogue City. Even though I'm not the biggest fan of the movies and that world, it was a fun and at times un-apologetically violent game that brought a smile to my face. My main complaint was how many times the game...
  • I will raise one major gripe. A great sequence of clearing a room filled with explosives and being unable to fire a bullet was ruined by a bomb defusal puzzle that didn’t follow its own logic or rules.
  • It’s a shame that the story when it finally ends feels a little messy and anticlimactic, and dare I say it a little cheap. ... For the final boss to end as a rehash from the second film left me wanting them to try something new instead.

An FPS that makes you feel like RoboCop almost as much as the Batman Arkham games make you feel like Batman. This game the opposite of a movement shooter - you are basically a walking tanky, though just how tanky you are depends on the difficulty setting and how you allocate skill points gained through level ups.

Robocop: Rogue City has been a pleasant surprise. Many redditors seem to enjoy it, so I expected a competent shooter, but didn't expect it to look this good, be this atmospheric, or have really fun dialogue and a RPG side quest system that makes the world feel more real.
