Roadside Picnic

Pros

• In the vein of His Masters Voice, Roadside Picnic, House of Leaves, I’m looking for stories which answer mysteries with more philosophical questions.
• Some books I’d recommend to anyone:  * Roadside Picnic by the Strugatsky Bros (Sci-Fi)
• It’s some you read when you’re in the mood for something philosophical and a bit bizarre. Or if you want cool kid sci fi cred.
• check out Roadside Picnic. A bonafide sci-fi classic, borders enough on horror that you won’t be sad hearing about it here.
• Roadsice Picnic by the Strugatsky brothers, His Master's Voice by Stanislaw Lem, VALIS by Philip K. Dick

Cons

• Roadside Picnic, which a friend recommended, I don’t really know much about it.
• Then I've got Roadside Picnic and The Haar on the list as well.
• The secret history by donna tartt. Roadside picnic
• The characters are ordinary folk, full of flaws and quirks but also a lot of heart, even if their internal monologues and ramblings are sometimes a touch too long or garbled for my taste.
• I have but I didn’t enjoy it. Maybe it was just the narrator, it was on audible. I actually really loved the introduction of that book, and the idea behind it, but it just didn’t work for me.
