  • I have to agree, I've been using this setup for a few years and I'm satisfied.
  • I currently have an RME Adi-2 Dac Fs connected to my Windows 11 PC, and I use an Audeze LCD-X V.2021 connected to the RME's Phones output. I've been using this setup for a few years and find it quite solid
  • When I want to have super critical audio I just use the RME anyway.
  • Personally my RME ADI-2 DAC FS does everything I need, but obviously that's a different realm budget-wise (and it sounds like it was recently discontinued and presumably will be replaced with a newer model at some point).

  • You would be wasting money. Headphones will make the biggest difference in your setup. The RME can handle most headphones with the exception of some planars.
