Pros

• Ringotan is great for learning to write!
• Ringotan is amazing
• My breakthrough came with Ringotan, which forces me to hand write the kanji as I learn them, and couple them to *Japanese* keywords that contain that kanji, rather than using English keywords.
• Ringotan & Skritter.com provide utilities to help you memorize and also learn stroke order for kanji.
• Ringotan can help with that!

Cons

• Is it just for drilling the strokes of user-selected kanji, or do you also plan to integrate some kind of ordered study with SRS (like Ringotan) or learn kanji in the context of vocabulary, etc?
• I also recently started using Ringotan for handwriting practice. The app is kinda amateurish and doesn’t share progress across devices. But I haven’t found a better alternative for what it does.
• I use Ringotan and Kanji. But writing on an iPad is bother harder and easier than writing on paper. Those apps mostly focus on knowing the kanji and their stroke order. And it is entirely possible to write something which passes, but wou...
• I also tried out Ringotan but it doesn't let me use my natural handwriting either.
• I did not find Ringotan to be as nice, but again, I have not used it long term.
