Pros
- Me and my friend drove from The Netherlands->Copenhagen->Gothenburg->Oslo->Bergen->Trondheim->Tornio->Oulu->Turku->Helsinki->Tallinn->Riga->Kaunas->Warsaw->The Netherlands in 13 days.
- Riga definitely has more nightlife and feels more like a large (-ish) city than Tallinn.
- 'Wow, Riga is great! You should join me at this lovely cafe!'
- I’d recommend to at least visit Helsinki, it actually may be the best hub for your arrival or possibly go to Riga as well.
- I’d try Tallinn, Riga and maybe Helsinki! Vilnius is very child-friendly too.

Yes, I was going to recommend Riga too!
I highly recommend Riga, their Aviation Museum is a field of various old Soviet aircrafts (military helicopters, fighter jets, passenger planes etc) and it was awesome.
