Not really classified as a horror movie, but Requiem for a Dream got me terrified the most.
I’m thinking along the lines of City of God, Requiem for a Dream, Irreversible, etc.
BUT requiem for a dream blew my mind away. I seriously didn’t expect this movie to be so good, and I’m picky.
So I suppose some sexual stuff is fine, like I wouldn’t be mad if someone recommended Requiem for a dream.

As for films, I noticed that *The Fly* and *Requiem for a Dream* were clear inspirations.
It was so bleak and depressing I had to watch Requiem for a Dream to cheer up.
