It's been one of the best books I have ever read. Fast-paced, with a good exciting plot - it is perfect!
I LOVED the way Red Rabbit treated ghosts/the afterlife.
Red Rabbit is awesome, I really liked it. The wild west atmosphere is not completely comparable to the medieval atmosphere of Between two Fires though

I just finished both books, set in the wild West, with ghosts, witchcraft, demons, and shape changers. This series feels so interesting, there is arsenic poisoning, hangings, a bank is robbed, all the while this group travels together. It feels like a journey in the best way
I hope you like Red Rabbit, but I found it unbearable. The entire thing is supposed to take place in a largely mundane world, like Buehlman's books, but literally everyone, and every town, the characters encounter, have some sort of supernatural component, largely unconnected to each other, like a bad tabletop roleplaying game.
