RawTherapee

Pros

• I use RawTherapee but Darktable is fine. RawTherapee has dehaze although it might not be as slick as Adobe's algorithm.
• RawTherapee and Darktable are free raw processing software. Both are far superior to lightroom and cameraraw in how much you can do but are more difficult to learn
• I was completely lost with Darktable but RawTherapee came easily.
• Darktable is simply a lot more powerful. Not counting AI features, it's probably the most powerful raw editor you can find, although RawTherapee puts up a good fight in some areas.
• Although I primarily use darktable myself, i think rawtherapee provides jpeg-like results faster as a starting point and then you may do your adjustments.

Cons

• Rawtherapee has most of what I need, but the masking function is really limited.
• Tried using rawtherapee before and the lack of good masks made me pull my hair out.
• Rawtherapee is much easier to understand coming from lightroom, people say it is complicated but I picked it up a decent amount in 10 minutes. I much prefer the layout, I might even prefer it to Lightroom, as there are a lot of cool feat...
• I’ve used Darktable and RawTherapee before, but they weren’t great at reducing noise.
