RAV4 Prime is probably your best bet. Toyota practically has hybrids perfected it seems like.
Sounds like Rav4 Prime is the perfect vehicle for you. For days when you’re only driving under 50 miles you can run on all electric and then you always have engine with amazing MPG for long trips.

If you can charge at home, get the RAV4 Prime / Plug-In Hybrid. In electric mode it’s a lot quieter than either of the other two. I wouldn’t call it sportier, but it is definitely faster than the CX-50.
