Rancilio Silvia Pro X

Pros

• You should be able to find a Rancilio Silvia Pro X for about $2000. I’ve been using it daily for about two years and don’t want anything else. It’s perfect if you dig the somewhat brutal aesthetics.
• But if you don't want to play around much and you just want to pull classic Italian espresso, a Rancilio Silvia Pro x or The Dual Boiler Gaggia Classic would be really good options too.

Cons

• I don't recommend the Rancilio Silvia Pro X. It lacks QoL features that the other two has. It does not have programmable set-and-forget auto-on/off (you have to do it every single day), it has non-human readable menu programming, it has...
• I've been leaning towards the rancillo Silvia pro x but now that I'm actually able to buy it I'd love some input.
• Pros of the Rancilio: High durability, fixability when broken or needing repairs, better steam, more consistent shots. Cons of Rancilio: Long heat up times, especially for the steam (20-30 minutes is unacceptable)
• My experience was going from a Gaggia Classic pro & encore, to a Sette 270, then the Rancilio Silvia Pro X and the Specialita.
