Rabo de Peixe

Pros

• I finished Rabo de Peixe and loved it
• Glória and especially Rabo de Peixe (both on Netflix) are really good imo!

• 2 really great Portuguese shows on Netflix - Gloria and Rabo de Peixe. Really enjoyed these, especially RDP!

Cons

• The main characters have a mainland accent, which is veey inaccurate because Rabo de Peixe is the place in Portugal with the most difficult accent to understand.
• I’m having a hard time understanding and the subtitles don’t match 100%. I know they use Portuguese mainland actors, but are they putting on an Azorean accent? How Azorean is the accent, because I can understand about 50% of the words.
• Not a sitcom but Portuguese: Netflix Rabo de Peixe.
• To be honest, the fact they didn't use the accent from Rabo de Peixe was precisely the reason why I didn't watch the series. I wasn't able to create a "suspension of disbelief" in my brain.
• Maybe she has already seen rabo do peixe but they speak with an island accent.
