Pros
- I also used Quillbot, both of them are great and reliable.
- Honestly, if you just need a quick and reliable plagiarism check, Grammarly or QuillBot work really well they're easy to use and pretty accurate.
- I usually use Grammarly and Quillbot's plagiarism checkers, both are pretty reliable...
- Quillbot is a good pick too if you are trying to save money.
Cons
- I’ve had the same issue with QuillBot/Wordtune not going deep enough.
- I’ve tested a range of popular AI writing assistants and humanizer tools both free and paid including QuillBot, Wordtune, and several newer services promising 0% AI scores. While some were useful for light editing, most either didn’t go...
- From what I’ve tested, it bypasses many of the common detection systems (ZeroGPT, GPTZero, Quillbot, UndetectableAI, etc.)
- I’ve seen Quillbot say 50% on stuff I literally typed from scratch lol.
- What I do now is run my drafts through at least a couple tools (I usually rotate between Grubby AI, AIDetectPlus, Quillbot, Phrasly) to see if anything stands out or gets flagged in a weird way.

I’ve tested a range of popular AI writing assistants and humanizer tools both free and paid including QuillBot, Wordtune, and several newer services promising 0% AI scores. While some were useful for light editing, most either didn’t go deep enough to truly fool detectors or completely changed the tone and structure of my writing.

QuillBot → Mostly just swapped in fancy synonyms. My paragraphs started sounding like robot Shakespeare trying to impress a literature professor.
