All of these would be suitable to learn synthesis on and to make a lot of sounds with, with the UDO or Summit probably having the biggest range since it can go beyond the basic waveforms easily.

I think the P6 layout if much quicker and easier to understand whereas the Muse maybe has a bit more as far as possibilities but would take a lot longer to get comfortable with top to bottom. ... I think the P6 did feel more solid as far as build and the knobs. Sound wise, they both sound great, just different. I think the P6 actually sounds more modern and the Muse is more focused on producing vintage tones, which is the opposite of what I think people might assume.

The major draw for the P6 is its raw tone, and simpler interface

If you’re patient, you can sometimes find a used Prophet 6 or UDO Super 6 for $2000

Also the p6 platform is much more stage friendly.

Prophet 6 is bread and butter, can do lots of things well and sounds pretty premium.

Prophet 6 is the GOAT for me

i saved for 2+ years to get a prophet 6, and it was totally worth it.

I did have to run tuning / calibration on it to get the tuning in check. That’s not unusual though. I had to do the same with my Prophet 6 and OB-6.
