Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown

Pros

• A better-than-average story, tight controls, fun traversal abilities, and an excellent map make The Lost Crown one of the best Metroidvanis of all-time.
• A-Tier: Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, [Redacted], Grime, Blasphemous, Biomorph, Animal Well, Ender Lillies, Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom, Aeterna Noctis, Crypt Custodian, Environmental Station Alpha, Afterimage
• This is either my favourite or second favourite game that I have played this year alongside Prince of Persia the lost Crown.

• Still making my way through Prince of Persia The Lost Crown it's really cool. I'm at that point in a metroidvania where you get enough powers to go back to parta of the map you couldn't get to before and get to explore. Love it.

• Prince of Persia the lost Crown sort of had this problem in that many of the cosmetics were disappointing. There was this one notorious challenge room that took me many tries to beat and I got the most generic, vanilla cosmetic as a rewa...
• I got annoyed by the traversal and shelved it half-way through, was nice until then
• Obviously great gameplay in most aspects, but a poor and completely forgettable world: it doesn't feel lived-in, doesn't make sense, doesn't feel intriguing or in any way believable. ... All of this, coupled with weak story and storytell...
• I think mechanically, it's great. And the art style is great too. But... I will say, I didn't really care for the rest of it. The areas were not bad but kinda bland. The story was more interesting than I expected but still pretty blah. ....
• While I enjoyed the story, it has a lot of holes and unanswered questions, as well as a rushed ending that feels unsatisfying.
