Overall, I am surprised at how much I liked this game. Why didn't I play Immersive Sims sooner? I'll probably buy Mooncrash later.

I'm no stranger to scrounging for supplies in games. I like Bioshock, Prey, and Metro.

Parent context: For me I think the thing that stings with Prey is that it represents the last big budget immersive sim we've seen. Bethesda just sent it out to die and now it, along with Dishonored 2, gets used to push the idea that immersive sims can't sell. I'd argue Prey is as close to perfection in a game as any could come, and so it's no wonder I'd decided to revisit what I'd consider the top of its (limited) class.

I love the fact the game didn't tell me this, it really respects your intelligence and gives you agency to play as you wish. If you're smart and like to use the environment at your favor and enjoy a good mysterious story, Prey is for you.

The books of his I loved were Jurassic Park, Timeline, Sphere and Prey.

Michael Chrichton in general is so good! I would also suggest Prey because of the nanomachines.

Prey is honestly one of the best games to come out in the last ten years. Immsims are such a great genre that I really wish would get another chance in the big leagues.
