Pros

  • We really didn't know how good we had it in 2011, huh? Portal 2, Uncharted 3, TES5: Skyrim, oh and a little game called Deus Ex: Human Revolution (DXHR). What a year! A real high water mark in the medium
  • I thought great now I know how to play Portal, Portal 2 should be a cinch. ... Not sure why it just clicked, but it's been known to happen with people who return to something after extended time. I'm going to finish it soon. So far, I'd...
  • Parent context: It’s a perfect game. There’s probably 5-10 games I consider perfect, and this is one of them. Reply: Any time the game is brought up, I reiterate that this is one of the funniest pieces of media ever.
  • It’s a perfect game. There’s probably 5-10 games I consider perfect, and this is one of them.
  • Portal 2 may still be one of the best video games ever created. It hits in so many ways. Art direction, voice acting, music, ambience, game design, everything. I struggle to find something I dislike about the experience frankly

Cons

  • Portal 2 also tried to go too big, and too real. Too much progression depends on looking around a vast area, looking for the tiny, distant portal surface. And even in the actual chambers, a lot more of it is based on seeing things rather...

Will always remember the smile on my face when I completed the game and the credits rolled. A great game and one of the classic endings of all time in video games.

God I love Portal and Portal 2. I replayed portal like a week ago and I've got P2 installed. They were such well made games that didn't overstay their welcome or try to force too much extra in.

Portal 2 is one of the rare puzzle games that manages to be consistently clever, funny, and mechanically fresh from beginning to end. While a lot longer and more story-focused than its predecessor, using the portal gun to bend space and solve increasingly complex puzzles never stops being satisfying.
