Polk Audio R700

Running some Polk R700’s along with dual SVS sb3000 r subs.

Im very happy with my system.

I’ve got it feeding a pair of Polk R700’s and SVS sb3000r’s.

Finally, I hooked up the new R700 floor speakers and SVS subwoofer. At low volumes, not a huge difference versus the bookshelf low-end polks...but when you crank the volume and get those VU meters rocking...WOW!! I was absolutely blown away. It's literally like having a concert in your house.

Polk R700's with the SVS SB-2000 is a literal dream setup for me, man.

Parent context: Ended up buying some Polk R700’s. Reply: I have a pair. I couldn’t be more pleased. I’m Using an Onkyo M-504 amp, Wiim preamp. Love How they sound, very crisp. Bass is excellent.

Also a proud owner of the R700s blasting tunes in my small af 120 sq ft room. Welcome to the club!!!

Those are on my short list for value/size if I ever wanted to replace my Polk RTi12

Parent context: I plan on pushing them with my Emotiva Xpa-dr2. I’ve read that they definitely like some wattage. Reply: It's true. After adding power the speaker literally said aight, let's go. I also had 2 friends do the same test. Both where like oh damn. These are pretty good.

Ended up buying some Polk R700’s. I don’t think there is a speaker that sounds as good in this price range.
