I'd second Polarsteps as well. They've rolled out a lot of new features lately to up their planning game. Plus it's a game changer for tracking/memories surrounding the trips you take.
Polarsteps is cool for photos as you can see the exact route you took everywhere.

No we are not, just Polarsteps. We have thought about it but so far no other social media
To clarify, if you track your trip with Polarsteps you can indeed give as many people as you want access to your trip. The app has three privacy settings: completely private; visible only to followers; or completely public.
If you only want to upload your own photos of the students, and your own summaries of what they've been doing, then the best thing to do is create your own account and create the trip in it. Next, change the app's privacy settings to 'Followers only'. Then in the top right-hand corner of your trip, there is an icon you can click to open a sidebar menu, where you'll find a button saying 'Share this trip'. You can copy your trip's URL and share it with people at home, and even if they don't have a Polarsteps account, they will be able to access the trip's photos, videos, and text via the link.
