Pros

  • And then a nice lunch in Polanco :)
  • I'd recommend the Polanco area, it'll be slightly more touristy as it's kind of a shopping district, but people always say the closer you get to an Apple Store and/or a Lululemon, the safer you'll be.
  • I did not even mention the gentrified, yuppied neighborhoods of Polanco, Condesa, Roma Norte. There is so much.
  • In my travel days I was stuck to Roma, Condesa, Polanco, Coyoacan and Centro during the day.

Cons

  • I went to Roma Norte and Polanco so far and still nothing impressive other than Museo Soumaya. Will check out other areas to see what else this city has to offer over the next few days.
  • For Juárez area on a budget, check out the hostels and Airbnbs around Colonia Roma and Condesa - they're right next to Juárez, super walkable, tons of local restaurants and street food, and way cheaper than staying in Polanco or Reforma.
