Pros

  • I enjoyed Persona 3: Reload so much because I didn't know anything about the story.
  • Style overload, absolutely jam packed with hours upon hours of content. 3 and 5 are great starting points
  • Persona 3: Reload is the perfect remake
  • Did that and then they offered to add any game of my choosing to my account. And that is how I got persona 3 reload for free :).

Cons

  • I’d love this but after playing through Reload and Metaphor I am exhausted with the Persona style. They really need to switch up the gameplay loop.
  • I was saving Persona 3 Reload for when I had some time and then Metaphor:Refantazio hit the shelves.
  • like with persona 3 reload the performance isn't great so i will wait for a sale elsewhere
  • But Persona 3 reload, an overpriced decade+ old game? Hah, no
  • Some dude was arguing with me about Persona 3 Reload doing poorly was because it was a keycard. I said it was because of the shitty performance

I will double dip when Atlus properly optimises their game. There’s no excuse why P3R shouldn’t run at 60fps or even a consistent 30fps.

I’ve put about 50 hours into it so far, having previously played it on the Steam Deck. Docked it plays very well. A very consistent 30fps, significantly better pacing than the demo. I feel portable is less stable, more so in line with Persona 5 Royal on the switch. Not bad at all, but the odd hiccup here and there, albeit barely perceptible.

Is the framerate still a problem, or at least something perceivable enough to become potentially problematic? I'm kind of baffled they shipped it in the state they apparently did.
