Percy Jackson & The Olympians

Pros

• I read the Percy Jackson and Magnus Chase series by Rick Riordan with my child and Riordan often incorporates various disabilities into characters in a really natural way. I loved reading these books with my kid.
• The Percy Jackson series shows how he had to train and be active to go on all the missions. Maybe have him read that and you can take him to practice archery or go on hikes
• Percy Jackson books are the first thing that comes to mind. They're fast paced and super funny. The main characters are 11 in the first book and have ADHD and dyslexia, so she can probably relate to them quite well.
• Percy Jackson?
• I have obsessed over stuff like the Julius Caesar Play by Shakespeare and Percy Jackson.

Cons

• Percy Jackson and other demigods not so much.
• not as juvenile as the early *Percy Jackson* books
• I read this series as an adult and the pacing is too childish for me.
• Percy jackson(the main books), cool, like long books, but maybe too childish, maybe...
• main character was so loveable and i liked the way his dyslexia was written…as for everything else i cant comment i was just bored. it’s so frustrating to be excited for a book’s premise only for it to be so dull
