Patagonia Refugio

Pros

• Refugio is better imo, more comfortable to wear, I like the removable organizer/pouch for laptop, I also love the vertical front pocket.
• I have an 2018 28L Patagonia Refugio that has served me well but is now needing replacing.
• I also want somethin similar, and for me i find the patagonia refugio a nice option.
• I have a Patagonia refuegio and it fits all your criteria.
• My daughters Refugio made it through four years of undergrad and still looks new

Cons

• I’d avoid the Refugio. It has two giant pockets, aside from the laptop sleeve. No internal organization, which means everything just falls inside. More of a travel or hiking bag than a school bag.
• And for your use case, the laptop compartment on the Osprey might not be padded enough, like a Patagonia Refugio, Aer or Tomtoc.
• Patagonia refugio or black hole?
• I just got the refugio last week. I had high hopes but it is really not as comfortable as I would have thought. I think my frame is a little bit too small for it.
• Yeah I got mine for free, no way it’s worth $110. The stretch water bottle pockets have some minor holes in them with light use.
