Pros
- Instead I just showed my kid some photos of recipes I was considering to make (I use Paprika to organize recipes) and gave her an input.
- You can put your groceries and pantry items in the app. Then use the app to create a meal plan, and Paprika will make a grocery list based off what you have put in the app.
- Paprika for downloading recipes from the internet and being able to sort them. It’s paid but pretty cheap. Gets rid of all the ads & text junk on recipe blogs and just saves the recipe with ingredients & directions and a photo.
- If you cook, I suggest Paprika. Once you learn your way around the app, it is easy to use and has many great features. ... I have used this app (Paprika Recipe Manager) since 2010.
- I had to give it a name to add it to my recipe app (Paprika)
Cons
- turmeric doesn't taste any less than most spices to me, definitely as much if not more than, say, cumin or paprika in similar amounts.
- I used Paprika for years and I switched to Pestle originally because it was a young (16-18 year old) developer who created it and I wanted to support any competition to Paprika to force innovation.
- For that task I tried several tools such as Food Buddy, Paprika, Recipe Keeper, but the first app is super minimalistic and I found it super useful for my case.
- I tried different meal plan apps (Paprika, Mealime, Recime, Pestle, etc.) but they don’t satisfy my needs and most want me to pay an expensive subscription.

Paprika. It's not just for cocktails but has all the stuff that's important to me. Customize, rate, add notes, etc. The ability to browse to any website and have it automatically find and extract the recipe is priceless.
