I recently rewatched Oz and was impressed.

Oz. An oldie but goodie.

I can't imagine how horrifying OZ would be if remade for this day and age. It's still shocking almost 30 years later.

Deadwood, Rome, six feet under, the leftovers, the shield, Oz, carnivale. You can't go wrong with these. Don't forget the sopranos.

Parent context: oz is great but I had to stop watching a few seasons in it felt too dark and claustrophobic, 8 should revisit it Reply: It is for sure a tough series to watch. But it's deep, it has substance, it is philosophical. It's a show a person can actually reflect over and (hopefully) become a better person after watching it.
