Ottawa can be cool for like two days to see all the museums and historical buildings if you are into that. But i wouldn't call it an exciting city.

It’s got a reputation as a relatively boring city, but we went with our family in the summer and really enjoyed walking along the canals, renting bikes and biking around the city, visiting Parliament, leaning about Canada’s history and eating some good food. But I certainly wouldn’t skip Ottawa if I were doing it again.
