There's also hidden role games like **The Resistance: Avalon** or **One Night Ultimate Werewolf**, if you're into social deduction.

For social deduction with hidden roles, I still reach for **One Night Ultimate Werewolf,** thanks to its quick rounds that let everyone try out a new role every 5 minutes.

One night werewolf (it has an app to use with the game) might be good, especially with a slightly bigger group.

Best is definitely use case dependent but ONUW should be on the list for smaller player count. * Quick * Easy to understand (so kids can join in). * Don't need a ST. * Scales down to 3 players OK, and 5 well.

If you want a short social deduction game, then One Night Ultimate Werewolf is a good option.
