Pros
- I prefer the community plugin omnisearch. It's intutive to me.
- Then proceed to try the plugin called Omnisearch.
- see if this helps - https://github.com/scambier/obsidian-omnisearch
- I will always recommend "Omnisearch" to everyone. I just find it so useful how it can "dig into" files and search within them
- There's a community plugin called Omnisearch which basically do what Everything does. It takes base Obsidian search capabilities and expand it, allowing for a deep scan of your vault no matter how many thousand notes you may possess.
Cons
- I tried Omnisearch, I stopped using it because it didn't have any semi permanent search results like the sidepane (which I did criticize but still).
- Parent context: Omnisearch usually does a pretty good job for me but the search window itself is a bit meh. Same with the Obsidian search feature, the result list is a bit dense to parse and not all that clearly displaying notes/director...
- Both Search and Omnisearch will search either in the entire vault, or in the current file.
- I’ve found Omnisearch to cause really devastating slow-downs in seemingly random ways, but I’m on macOS.
- Omnisearch and custom templater indexes are just a band-aid right now.

Between notebook navigator, omnisearch, and linter I really don’t think you need much more.
[OmniSearch](https://github.com/scambier/obsidian-omnisearch), hands-down the best search I've ever used.
My plugins are: Omnisearch, one for finding broken links, and Excalidraw.
Parent context: I tried omnisearch on both pc and mobile. Its a really good plugin with previewing images on the result list 😄 Reply: I tried omnisearch on both pc and mobile. Its a really good plugin with previewing images on the result list 😄
