Pros

• They only marginally helped until we cut out dairy and switched him to omeprazole at around 2 months old.

Cons

• Omeprazole is not something you want to put a newborn on. Or a kid. Or anyone for an extended period of time.

• We saw all the doctors- multiple pediatricians, GI, pulmonologists, sleep doctors, chiropractor, PT, OT, feeding therapy, etc. they found nothing except reflux. Famotidine did nothing, but We saw minimal improvement with Omeprazole.
• I’m already maxed out on Pepcid and omeprazole, and I chug Mylanta at night.
• Daily omeprazole helped a little but the Claritin is what really fixed it for me.
