We had similar requirements as you and ended up with two weeks in Oman now. :) Rich culture and nature, not so far away, no large masses of tourists and ideal for exploration via road trip.
To actually travel the answer is Oman no contest. It has by far the most unique and interesting culture and the country does an amazing job at preserving its native identity instead of just building glass and steel skyscrapers.
It’s a great time to visit desert countries that would ordinarily be incredibly hot. Oman and Egypt are good options (though the later might still be pretty cold in the north)
