Oathsworn

Pros

• Oathsworn has a much stronger story but gloomhaven has a deeper character development. Personal preference is oathsworn by a mile
• Oathsworn, great game, quite a few minis
• Oarhsworn is great solo. I really enjoy it. I play with four full characters, and it's not cumbersome at all.
• Once the FOMO passes, there will always be better games out there (like in my case Oathsworn, or Arydia, etc).
• Standee Oathsworn seems like much better value… if that’s your jam.

Cons

• Oathsworn is like this, but the bosses drop their *actual* weapons
• My favorite solo game is Oathsworn, but a lot of other folks are lukewarm/hate it.
• So everything else (Frosthaven, Oathsworn, ISS vanguard so far, and now playing Rove and Aeon trespass odyssey) is solo.
• My main issue with Oathsworn is that I think the story and experience take center stage, replaying bosses is disappointing. The gear and upgrades are also disappointing. For my taste.
• I found Oathsworn really dull and sold it after a few missions... writing was good but combat was both overly complex and way too repetitive and straightforward
