Pros

  • Maybe take the metro from Gare du Nord to the Eiffel Tower and walk along the river down to Notre Dame.
  • When I went to Paris, for example, I wanted to see the Eiffel Tower, Mona Lisa, Notre Dame, etc. These things are famous for a reason!
  • Notre Dame and Saint Chappelle can be both done pretty quickly if you have a reservation already, so you may be able to fit more stuff in on that day.
  • In Paris, [Sainte Chapelle](https://www.sainte-chapelle.fr/en) is breathtaking. It’s my favorite sight in Paris, but a lot of people seem to skip it for some reason. It’s not far from Notre Dame on Ile de la Cite, so it’s easy to see both.

Cons

  • Spend some time at Ile Saint Louis and Ile de la Cité where you have great spots to eat or have a snack (except the ones next to Notre Dame).
  • Last time I was in Paris I couldn’t see the French art exhibit at the Louvre or Notre Dame (both were closed).
