Normcore V4

Pros

• Get a self leveling tamper such as Normcore V4.1 or Decent
• Normcore V4 is solid but honestly any flat tamper that fits your basket well will do the job
• normcore makes nice quality items, especially tampers.
• Once you know what your doing replace all your cheap shit with normcore lol.
• Then use a self-leveling tamper (I use the normcore V4 - I recommend the one WITHOUT the ripple).

Cons

• Yes! I have the normcore v4.1. I still sometimes think I see uneven tamping though.
• The Normcore V4 is good, but it bottoms out on the stock basket taper. It's not a problem if your basket is adequately dosed.
• When it was time to get another tamper I got the normcore. ... And it doesn't. It just collects grinds in the ridges and makes a mess. Of course it does!
• it's possible to tamp not level, despite the v4 being a self leveling tamper--pushing laterally at all can lift the tamping plate off the basket, making your tamp not level.
