Nioh 2

Pros

• I’d say Nioh 2 is better than most of modern From Software’s output lol, falling behind only to Bloodborne and maybe Sekiro.
• I'd have to sit down and actually quantify things, but I'm pretty sure Nioh 2 is a top 10 game for me.
• I'm going to plug Nioh 2 for something not covered in the review: the endgame. The DLC/Season Pass really add a ton of content that gets progressively more difficult to test your abilities and builds.
• As a ageing person with not so much time to play I felt that the best and worst part of Nioh 2 was the enormous amount of options you have at every single moment during combat. ... This is great, it is fun, it is deep.
• I absolutely adored both Nioh 1 and 2, but felt 2 was just refined enough across the board compared to the first game that it's my favorite action RPG of all time.

Cons

• Bounced off Nioh 2, I wish it wasn't so fast and obsessed with grabs with no counters.
• If you want to flip out and do cool ninja shit, it's hard to go wrong with Team Ninja. It's sort of their thing and with a dozen different weapon types and more moves/magic powers than you can shake a stick at you can be the variety show...
• I like nioh 2 but not in the way I like darksouls. Nioh 2 has too many systems, too much loot, too much character min maxing and build efficiency. What I like about dark souls is the wibes and atmosphere. That is gone when I kill a guy t...
