• The airport is not nice. But it's decent. Anybody claiming it's "the hellhole and worst airport ever" never visited an airport in Africa or some other poor countries' airports.
• It’s a horrible airport, particularly if you need to change terminals as the traffic is terrible and taxi drivers are Satan incarnate. This is a shuttle bus, but they heavily restrict its use.
• I have heard horror stories about having to “self-transfer” between terminals. The few stories (a few years ago) I have heard involve what sounds like absolute chaos on the local city buses from one terminal to another if you have to cha...
• I hate Manilla airport. And I have been to many African ones. Manilla is horrible.
• The terminals are mostly not connected airside, and the landside route between them is not enclosed within airport property.
