Nevernight had a lot of that and I skipped most of it lol.
Parent context: I liked Nevernight, but couldnt get past the whole Spartacus almost exact reinactment in Godsgrave. And the ending reallllly was hard to follow, the final fight scene. Love me some Mia Corvere though! Reply: Agreed on all parts. They were not the easiest books to read but that Mia…the vampire series is one of my all time favorites though and can’t wait to launch into the third one.

Nevernight was...just okay. I read the first two and didn't bother with the thrid. I didn't like any of the characters and didn't really care what happened to them.
