Pros
- So far the Neo80 and Neo60 are my favorite followed by the Nut65 with the Y2 switches.
- I had to buy the Neo80 second hand as they don't sell them anymore but they have the fancy neo80cu now which looks amazing.
- The Neo 80 sounds and feel amazing! I got the same blue top and the copper bottom, and it is HEFTY
- I love it but now I'm deeper in and have a qk65 v2 classic and a neo 65cu and now have a Neo80 coming lol.
- Just wanted to share my Neo80 build with * Black Anodized Case * Black Spray-Coated Weigh * POM Plate * Tri-Mode PCB
Cons
- I found that clackier switches went better with my Neo80. There's not enough foam/thickness with the board to give it the satisfying thock that I can get with my Rainy75 for example.
- Parent context: Worst case I just make the Neo80 my daily driver and the Neo60 would be for my personal PC that I just do normal typing on. Reply: While I love the neo80 and it's feel, I don't really love the white case tbh, and it's qui...
- So I messed up my neo80 downloading I think an older bin file from https://www.qwertykeys.com/pages/fw specifically neo_neo80_wired_072_via.bin
- Unsure if it's my build, but I have a neo80 with the bottom cerakoted green.

High density metal means more reverb, at least according to my physics knowledge. So Copper bottom might have a cleaner (since it's denster in theory), yet louder sound than brass.
Copper is generally denser than brass so I guess copper bottom will be a bit heavier than brass bottom. But the most noticable difference is copper is more easily exposed to oxidization, which means copper bottom can easily achieve beautiful patina effect.
neo80/neo80 also from qk if you don't mind assembling it, there is the hotswap pcb option (so no soldering)
