My husband and I flipped a coin and we ended up in Nashville. Both trips were fantastic.
However, there are still some really cool things here and I love it here.
Nashville has live music in all the honky tons and sometimes different bands on different levels of the same place. Im not really a country guy but in Nashville I was.
New Orleans has a definite vibe, but Nashville is great for music, and for more genres than people expect. It also feels a bit less touristy overall. There's plenty to do - music, museums, paddlewheel river cruises, and there's the Gibson guitar connection if you're musically inclined.
