Nakano Broadway

Pros
- Nakano Broadway is a small mall in Tokyo that has a lot.
- Highly recommend Nakano Broadway if you're ever in Tokyo and looking for some new/second hand pieces
- I prefer Nakano Broadway over Akihabara.
- Not sure where your hotel is, but as a suggestion, Nakano Broadway may be on the way there/back which can fill an hour or two.
- Afternoon in Akihabara and Nakano Broadway.
Cons
- Nakano Broadway, sure it has a really cool retro vibe, however unless you are into only the biggest anime series like One Piece, Naruto, Dragonball etc, you will not find very much of other series.
- Akihabara is an evening spot and Nakano Broadway is effectively the same thing, so you can drop it unless you're targeting a specific shop.
- Nakano Broadway is an anti-recommendation for me because it's not particularly cheap or interesting IMO
- If you're going to Nakano Broadway, everything there opens at midday so you need other plans for the morning.
- Nakano Broadway says it opens at 10am. That's pretty much a lie since most of the shops inside don't open til 12 noon, so don't try to go early.

I think you might like Nakano broadway close enough to shinkuku if time allows
I think you will be very stretched for time if you intend to explore all of Nakano Broadway's Mandarake stores afterwards (easily could spend half a day here if you love retro toys/games).

For Nakano Broadway, it's really easy to tack onto an Ikebukuro day since they're both on the Tozai/JR lines and only about 10-15 min apart, so bundling your half day Ikebukuro with Nakano Broadway in the same day makes total sense geographically
